Question 6

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? Powered by emaze

question 5

What did you do to attract/ address your audience?

Chloe Judd
age:17
ocupation: studdent
hobbies: sports, art
gender : female
interests:kick boxing, art, sociology

Question 4

Who would be the audience for your media product?

my music magazine is aimed at a mixed gender group of 15 to 22 year olds interested in indie music; because of my target audience’s age there is a very high likely hood that the majority of my audience is in full time education as they are teenagers or young adults. the importance of their age means they are very unlikely to have a form of income that is disposable. meaning they will not be able to afford something too expensive. this is why I’ve chosen the price of my magazine to be £1.50 as this price is not likely to put my target audience off.
my target audience will have priorities in school, family and social lives. studying for exam, spending time with people. they’re likely to want to spend money on cinemas and contemporary affordable clothes shops. they will be interested in new trends in technology, social media and fashion but they’re likely to not want to go extreme with spending and look out for comfortable expressive clothes.
they will likely socialise in town centres, educational areas, and the older age bracket could be meeting in pubs and clubs where new music is played.
due to the age range of my ideal audience, the majority of them will be just learning or thinking about starting to drive, due to low income possibly part time jobs they are likely to go for the cheapest car that they can find with the cheapest insurance. they are likely to live with their families or in student accommodation.

due to trends in technology, they are likely to have a new smart phone, which they can listen to music on. they can do this through many apps including: iTunes and Spotify.

Draft interview for double page spread

Interview with Steph .s
When we met with Steph .s days before preforming up on the big stage up at Indie fest she seemed so overwhelmingly excited, when we asked her about how she felt that she would be going on stage with a 4 thousand people audience in just under a week she replied “oh gosh,  Im a little nervous but over all im just so excited to be here so quickly” she says “I always dreamed of preforming infront of audiences and this is the biggest one I have yet.” When we ask her about how she’ll prepare herself for the show she tells us that she’s “not going to take it too far, I’ve always had people tell me not to over do practising before hand, that’s how you her yourself or your voice” she advises.

We spoke with her for a while and when we asked her about how she felt about the atmosphere of the festival she mentioned “its just like when I came with my friends, I can see how excited everybody is and later on I can see how absolutely exhausted everybody is but it’s always been so inspiring to see how excited everybody was for the next day” she recalls some of her own festival experiences like the tent placement and bad weather, how close you were to the next people over and how “it felt oddly comforting not knowing who was next to you perfectly but knowing enough about them to know they are like you and are here for a good time” she remenises back to when her and her friends would camp out and how many people they had actually spoken to and continued to keep up with. She also warned us about all of the “drunk kids who throw up on you”. Which thank fully nobody had experienced yet.

Magazine Covers

Here are the best in my opinion of the front covers that i have created for my magazine. with different photos from my photo shoot

Thursday 21 January 2016

Possible photos for magazine front cover

1.I chose this photo due to the space on the side as well as it give the impression of two friends taking photos, it doesn't look all that professionally done, as the photo isn't serious or framed perfectly, which really conveys the indie style because of the intimacy in the photo.

2. i chose this to be one of the photos i considered using as it involved the audience and gave a place for the name of the artist (on her hand) and also had space around her for cover lines and a masthead on top

3.this photo i thought would be a good cover as the eye contact involves the audience and the pose and the guitar on her back her back give an impression of youth and the indie genre

4.i liked this photo and think it could be a good cover photo as there is lots of space around her for the cover lines, and space above her for a masthead slough because her hands are cut off by the photograph  means i wouldn't be able to make the photo wider, but hopefully the space on top and below would mean that wouldn't be necessarily an issue

5. i like this photo because it gives an impression of anger/confusion with the expression and it suggests there might be something weird or new about the artist or music.
